Once there were two friends and they always found something
to do. But one day they became bored so they didn’t do anything so they sat on
the couch. Mum got so sick and tired with them she sent them outside. “AND
DON’T COME BACK TILL SUN DOWN!” she shouted at the top of her lungs. So they
went for a walk, they came to an old wall and in the wall was a tunnel. Brendan said let’s see what’s in there. No
said Grant it might collapse. You worry too much said Brendan so he crawled
into the tunnel. Grant waited but Brendan didn’t come out so Grant followed
him.
He slowly clambered into the tunnel, he was trying to keep
his brave face but deep down inside he was trembling with fear but he kept on
going. He was so busy thinking about his friend he didn’t notice how dark it
was then he saw a glimpse of light he was out.
He came out of the tunnel and came to his feet only to be
surprised by a huge forest. He saw prickly puncturing pine needles and pine
cones hanging on every lingering pine tree branch.
He found rolling pins with spikes closing in on him but
Grant saw Brendan he was close enough to be able to grab Brendan and pulled him
into the tunnel. They raced back home when their mum saw them she said you look
like you have had fun and they both agreed.
Phillipa
Olivia and Phillipa are two great
friends! Olivia is 8 and Phillipa is 9.They both were watching what now on
Phillipa’s new, expensive TV. It was a very hot day and the sun was out. It
gleamed through the sky and through the blinds and burst onto Olivia and
Phillipa. ”Oh, I’m so boiling’’ said Phillipa ‘’me too!!’’ said Olivia. So they
went to fetch an ice block. They walked into Phillipa’s gloomy garage and
opened the freezer. A big burst of freezing cold air burst up into their faces. ’’Ahhh, that
cooled me down!’’ said Olivia laughing. Phillipa pushed a button that lifted
the garage door! ‘’what are you doing Phillipa!?’’
‘’We’re going for a walk, nobody will notice,
anyway we will be back before dark!’’ So Olivia and Phillipa wandered off.
Olivia took her first step and slid off! While Olivia was sliding away on some
sort of oil ,Olivia passed some shops and bakeries too. Olivia was starting to
slow down but she was still sliding. She was heading for a tunnel then finally
she disappeared into the tunnel.
Phillipa started to shiver and shake but she
had to save Olivia. Phillipa took a deep breath and entered. While she crawled
through the pitch dark and gloomy tunnel, cob webs dangled, shadows wandered
and nightmares came true! The dark flew like dust followed her everywhere,
spiders flying through the air disappearing in seconds. But what is that in the
distance…..?
A glimpse of
light came closer and closer until finally she was free! Beyond her was a
beautiful forest. The birds were chirping lovely songs and the grass was pure
green. But the trees were carved into scary figures. She called her friend screaming
“ where are you Olivia?” at the top of her lungs but there was no reply.
Phillipa walked frightfully on and
saw Olivia locked up in a silver, metal cage yelling and screaming. Olivia
quickly yelled “climb the highest tree in the forest to get the key before she
comes back!” Phillipa answered back “who comes back?”.
“Just go!” Phillipa ran as fast as
she could and started to climb the highest tree in the forest! She passed bird
and nests and spikey branches when suddenly she grabbed the key, she ran back to
Olivia, before she could free Olivia a big row of bloody knives popped up from
the ground. Phillipa jumped but stead of landing on the ground Phillipa landed
beside Olivia’s cage and slipped the key into the key hole. Olivia was free!
Phillipa and Olivia ran back through the forest and back home safely!
Jordan
At 1.00pm in
the afternoon Jordan was practising football while Katie was reading books.
Then Jordan’s mum told both of them to get out of the house. They started
walking but kept quiet. A couple of minutes later Jordan found a tunnel. “Hey
Katie look at this” Jordan said. “I am going to enter it”.
“No don’t”
said Katie, but it was too late. Jordan was already deep into the tunnel. Katie
waited and waited and then decided she would enter.
As she
slowly enters the tunnel she drops her book and continues to crawl deeper into
the tunnel. As she went deeper she started to feel slime and squashed bugs.
Finally she saw some light and got excited, the tunnel ended and she realised
she was in a forest.
As she went
further into the forest she could hear growling, there she came to a misty
clearing. As she walked into the mist things became clearer. Soon she could see
a figure hanging from a rope over a pit of lava. One minute later Katie
realised it was Jordan and started running towards him.
“Jordan what
can I do for you?” said Katie.
“Well you
can grab that knife” replied Jordan..
“What for?”
asked Katie
“Because I
have a plan, you are going to throw the knife at the rope. Ok!” Jordan started
swinging and Katie threw the knife. The knife cut the rope, Jordan did a flip
and lent on his feet. “Let’s go home” Katie said.
“Agreed”
said Jordan. Katie and Jordan started heading back and lived happily ever
after.
Mathew
Mathew and Thomas were sometimes friends and sometimes
enemies. One day mum told them to go on a walk and to come back by lunch. They
walked through an alley way Mathew saw something it was a tunnel. Thomas didn’t
want to go into the tunnel so Mathew went into the tunnel. Thomas was worried
so he entered the tunnel.
He entered the tunnel and dropped his book behind him. It
was dark, cold and stony and it was dusty and long. Now he was worried he
couldn’t find his brother anywhere in the stone tunnel with cobwebs in it. Now
he saw something, was it the end or was it his friend?
When he got out there were trees with wolves on them, one
was wearing grandma clothes and the other one was carrying two pieces of brown
wood. It had a hut that was closed up with sticks and a bomb fire and a silver
axe. One tree had a picture of a crocodile and the other one had parts of
bodies. Now he was scared and ran away.
Mathew found Thomas stuck in a hole in a cage so Mathew
found a rope and a key. So he used the rope to get down and unlocked the cage
and they went home to their mum and they never went in again.
Thomas
Thomas and Angus went to go get some milk from New World. On
their way Angus fell into a tunnel so Thomas waited about 30 minutes then he
went to find him.
As he entered the gloomy dark tunnel he hit his precious
head on the steal like wall. “Ow!” he said. He touched the cold wet wall. “Ew!”
Yucky stinky cobwebs. Finally he saw a
light.
But then the light went as dark as night and he was afraid
of the dark. He finally got out of the gloomy dark tunnel. He heard very
strange twisted up noises like. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Cough cough and hiss hiss ow!
My tooth! Oh! No! he said.
Thomas found Angus he was trapped in a gigantic funnel web
spider’s web and the ferocious spider was going to eat him up. As quick as a
flash Thomas picked up super sharp rock and cut Angus out. Then Thomas and
Angus ran home. When Thomas and Angus were at home mum asked “where’s the milk
boys?”. Uh! Oh! they said then Angus and Thomas remembered why they went out in
the first place.
Olivia
Phillipa and
Olivia are best friends they are always bored. One day when Olivia and Phillipa
were bored and moaning, mum told them to go for a walk. Phillipa and Olivia
grabbed bag with bubble gum in it and gave the bag to Phillipa to carry. They
ran out the door extremely fast but Phillipa slipped on some jelly and fell
down the slide, the tunnel lead to a tunnel. Olivia waited a while then she
called Phillipa, but there was no reply. Olivia took a deep breath and slid
down the slide and looked around at the tunnel.
She enters
the tunnel very slowly and felt the cold rocky floor. She started calling
Phillipa but there was no reply, she stood up and bumped her head on the
freezing cold roof. She looked around she started hesitating looking at the
spooky hard brick walls. She kneeled down again and crawled until she saw the
end of the tunnel.
She crawled
out of the tunnel and stood up “Where am I” she asked herself. She looked
around, she felt the trees the trees felt very old and bumpy. She called Phillipa
again and again but there was no reply. In the distance she could see a little
old cottage. She felt tired so she lay down on the soft grassy forest next to a
log.
Rachel
Once upon
time there was two very naughty sisters called Rachel and Olivia. They thought
aloud their ideas and told each other, and one day their nana got sick of them.
“Go outside and enjoy the sunshine” she said. Both girls went outside and went
for a walk.
“Hey a
tunnel beat you to the other side” said Olivia.
“No” replied
Rachel. But it was too late Olivia was
already in the tunnel. Rachel got scared.
After a
while she entered the old dark gloomy cracked tunnel. She felt her arms and
legs sinking in what she thought, was quick sand. She finally saw a flash of
light from outside.
As she made
her way out she saw a mysterious thing. She went to check it out. She found a
tree with wavy branches, curled twigs and things that looked like bodies and a
door stuck in the middle of nowhere.
Rachel
started shaking and shivering. Rachel looked around but there was no sign of
Olivia. Suddenly a sound came from the distance, it was Olivia but where was
she? “I’m up here tied to the two trees” said Olivia. Rachel went to climb the
trees to get Olivia down and then they went home just in time for lunch.
Jules
Once upon
time there lived two friends named Jules and Brooke. They liked ruining Jules’s
sister’s parties. One day Jules’s sister Allie was having a party. Jules and
Brooke started playing pranks on Allie. Mum got so annoyed she kicked them out
and said “be back by tea”. Brooke and Jules walked to a big tunnel Brooke said
“Jules I am going into the tunnel are you coming?”
“No” said Jules “it’s too dangerous” but Brooke didn’t
listen she climbed into the tunnel and didn’t come out so Jules climbed in the
tunnel.
She put down her book and entered the tunnel. She felt a
small shiver coming down her back and she was shouting “Brooke where are you?”
She was crawling very slowly through the scary dark tunnel finally she saw some
light.
She walked
out of the tunnel and she saw trees and stuff but no sign of her friend. The
light was too bright for Jules so she sat down under a shady tree. She smelt
some smoke so she got up and walked over to the fire and sat down and she saw
something in the distance.
After a bit
she saw a shadow in the distance it was Brooke, she was stuck in some trees so
Jules found a sword and started chopping down the trees. Finally she fell onto
the ground Brooke and Jules started to walk home. Jules’s mum said “where have
you two been?
Jules said “oh just around the place”.
